Karachi is burning yet again. Karachi and its people are the sufferrers, again! What has happened is not yet clear, nobody can give a clear cut picture, yet we have started the blame game already and all guns are firing at the MQM!

I was stuck in the riots, in traffic jams and the difficulties I faced in getting home from my university, which is normally a simple route! We as Karachi'ites suffer, nobody else does!

Those sitting in Lahore, Islamabad, New Delhi, Jerusalem and Washington D.C. only sit, watch and control the happenings to their liking!

I urge everyone you to stay calm! Do not start blaming one party as yet. I cannot defend anyone, as I am in no position to, nor am I trying to.

But please, it is too early as of now.

We have yet again made a mockery of ourselves as those who initiated all this sit in the comfort of their drawing rooms and watch the happeneings on the television!

We have reduced ourselves to a laughing stock by starting this blame game, without pursuing the original culprits.

Strengthening ties between MQM and the PPP has definitely not pleased some people, involvement of the losing parties in case of an MQM-PPP deal simply CAN NOT be ignored!

May Allah bless Pakistan!

Talk-Backs:
sultanrahi:Karachi`ites have suffered there is no doubt about that but aren't you playing the blame game now, what we are enduring is the fruit of our own short comings we as a nation are not sincere to our own selves we still think that we live in the British raj, any strike any protest begins with sabotaging the government properties, the ignorants don not even think that this is there property not of some foreign invaders! I look around myself i see people, non-political people slitting each others throat, scavenging on any opportunity to fill there pockets, stepping on others heads to reach to the top. It seems as if moral and patriotism is non-extant, as it is said that your nation is your reflection first and foremost thing; we should look at ourself and then people around us when you are able to face the mirror it is then only you can make the difference.

Ammar:I agree with you sultan, but we also have to realise where it is being funded from. Sabotage activity in Karachi these days seems to be better planned every time! It is more tactful every time it happens again... isn't it obvious that there are certain elements controlling such things?

sultanrahi:There is some weight in your comments but then again we have give other opportunity to play with us ,what they do is they provide initial spark and then the rest is upto the thrill seekers!
